Combating Trafficking in Human Beings in Digital Space
Bar - IOM Montenegro organized two trainings on "Technology Facilitated Trafficking in Human Beings: Committing, Investigating, and Prosecution."
Through these activities, IOM continues to explore and build the capacities of relevant national stakeholders in the area of human trafficking in digital space. This area of work remains largely unexplored, yet it is highly important with the rise of technological developments and the impact they have on the modus operandi of human trafficking.
Participants in the training, together with the trainer engaged by IOM, discussed new trends, challenges, and next steps to be taken in order to provide an adequate response to this ever-evolving problem.
