Supporting Reception Capacities in Montenegro
Spuž - International Organization for Migration (IOM) Mission in Montenegro granted on May 26, 2023, a donation of 44 beds, 23 matrices, 50 pieces of blankets, 50 packs of sheets and 50 pieces of pillows to the Center for Reception of Foreigners Seeking International Protection in Spuz.
The IOM Chief of Mission, Mr Vladimir Gjorgjiev together with representatives from the Ministry of the Interior, highlighted that the donation comes to meet the identified needs and highlighted the importance of this donation for migration management needs of the country.
This donation was realized within the project: “Addressing Mixed Migration Flows in the Western Balkans”. Furthermore, the two sides also discussed future areas of intervention which would enhance protection and accommodation services of migrants in Montenegro. IOM Montenegro is committed and will continue to provide support ensuring safe and regular migration.
