IOM Montenegro Enhances AVRR Outreach and Collaboration in Northern Montenegro
Pljevlja-rozaje - IOM is committed to the principle that humane and orderly migration benefits migrants and society. Return counselling and information services is an integral part of many AVRR programmes. Where possible, information on all aspects of voluntary return assistance is made available to the beneficiaries at the earliest stages of the immigration and asylum processes.
In order to strengthen cooperation among partners in key locations in the north of Montenegro and help better tailor return assistance to the needs of the returnees, IOM Montenegro organized distribution of AVRR backpacks containing basic needs items and AVRR promotion materials to Islamic Communities in Pljevlja and Rozaje and NGO Bona Fide in Pljevlja, on 23 and 24 March 2023. Ms. Talovic from Bona Fide and Imams Mr. Osmanagic and Mr. Hot expressed their availability and support in AVRR outreach program and thus laid the cornerstone of future excellent cooperation.
