IOM’s week-long Training of Trainers focused on rights-based reintegration was held in Bar

A successful week-long Training of Trainers focused on rights-based reintegration was held in Bar from September 23 to 27, 2024. This training empowered reintegration officers to strengthen their capacities using participatory methods and an integrated approach to deliver impactful workshops. Participants took part in dynamic mock-up sessions, applying the participatory methods they learned throughout the week.

This hands-on experience reinforced practical skills in delivering reintegration workshops and tailoring reintegration processes to diverse needs.

In the same week, a validation meeting on Reintegration Standard Operating Procedures for Assistance in the Reception and Reintegration of Returnees in the Context of Readmission in Montenegro was also held. This critical step allowed stakeholders to finalize the SOPs, ensuring that the reintegration framework is aligned with the best practices and reflects a comprehensive, rights-based approach to reintegration in Montenegro.

Together, we are laying the foundation for sustainable, rights-based reintegration practices that support individuals and communities across Montenegro.

This successful initiative was made possible thanks to the support of the Government of Denmark.
