IOM Montenegro Successfully Pilots Psychosocial Wellbeing Training for Ukrainian Volunteers
Budva - IOM Montenegro is delighted to announce the successful pilot of the "Improving Wellbeing – Helping Others and Self-Care" training program for Ukrainian volunteers in Montenegro. This initiative, conducted on March 28 and 29 in Budva, was part of the project "PRM MULTICOUNTRY RESPONSE – UKRAINE CRISIS." The primary goal of the training was to enhance the capacity of volunteers from four Ukrainian Cultural Centers by equipping them with essential skills to support psychosocial well-being.
The training encompassed critical topics, including self-care and maintaining one's health and well-being, as well as fostering supportive communication in everyday interactions.
By strengthening the capabilities of Ukrainian volunteers, the program empowers them to efficiently provide support to Ukrainian citizens. This support is essential in helping individuals manage problems, regain control of their situations, and gain access to practical assistance, addressing the urgent needs of those who have fled the conflict in Ukraine to find refuge in Montenegro.
