IOM Montenegro Together With the Local Partners is Commemorating World Day Against Trafficking in Human Beings!

Podgorica - The 30 July marks the World Day Against Trafficking in Human Beings, the day when voices of most vulnerable should be heard and their rights should be protected. 

OM Montenegro together with Ministry of the Interior, Red Cross, and civil organizations of Montenegro, initiated an awareness raising campaign „Recognize and report trafficking in human beings “.

The campaign aims at informing and raising awareness amongst public in Montenegro about dangers of trafficking in human beings, indicators as well as different forms of exploitation. 

During the campaign, representatives of IOM, Ministry of Internal Affairs, Department for Combating Trafficking in Persons, Red Cross of Montenegro, and NGOs (SOS Hotline for Violence Against Women and Children Nikšić, Montenegrin Women's Lobby and Defendology) will share information among the population in 15 municipalities in Montenegro to achieve and raise greater awareness about this issue.
