Reopening of the Center Spuž
Spuž - The International Organization for Migration (IOM) Montenegro was present at the reopening of the Center Spuž, following an extensive period of reconstruction work. The Center Spuž has been significantly renovated, and IOM Montenegro is proud to have contributed to this endeavor.
As part of IOM’s commitment to improving migration facilities, the IOM has played a crucial role in the revitalization of the Center Spuž. Through our efforts, the Center will now have an additional 44 beds, 23 matrices, 50 pieces of blankets, 50 packs of sheets, and 50 pieces of pillows.
These contributions have been made to ensure that the facility can comfortably accommodate those seeking a regular and dignified migration process.
Moving forward, the IOM remains committed to its core principles of promoting orderly and responsible migration. We will continue to work closely with our partners and stakeholders to improve migration facilities, develop sustainable solutions, and ensure that the rights and well-being of migrants are protected at every stage of their journey.
