Reviewing Progress on Protection-sensitive Migration Management
Podgorica - The National Steering Committee meeting within the IPA III funded project "EU Regional Support to Protection-Sensitive Migration Management Systems in the Western Balkans — Phase Ill" took place in Podgorica on September 11th.
The meeting was organized as a part of the third phase of the project, with the aim of presenting the activities for the period of 12 months in order to achieve effective management of protection-sensitive migration in the region that is aligned with the EU and international standards.
Along with the National Steering Committee representatives from the Ministry of Interior of Montenegro, the meeting was attended by the implementing partners: the European Border and Coast Guard Agency (Frontex), the European Union Agency for Asylum (EUAA), the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).
