Strengthening Cooperation – Meeting With the EU Delegation Ambassador in Montenegro
Podgorica - H.E. Oana Cristina Popa, the EU Delegation Ambassador in Montenegro, met with Ms. Laura Lungarotti, the IOM Chief of Mission and Western Balkans Coordinator, and Mr. Vladimir Gjorgjiev, the Chief of IOM Mission in Montenegro.
UN IOM Montenegro values its close cooperation with the European Union as a prominent partner in migration governance. We hope to optimize resources, successfully implement initiatives in Montenegro and the region, and support Montenegro's path to EU membership.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to H.E. Oana Cristina Popa for her warm welcome. We look forward to continuing our flourishing cooperation with the EU Delegation in Montenegro and working together to develop effective solutions and build resilience at the national level.
