The study shed light on their profiles, key identified needs in different spheres, but also their experiences during the application procedure for temporary protection in Montenegro.

Data was collected in the period 3-23 March 2023, in following municipalities: Herceg Novi, Bar and Budva, by interviewing 173 people who left Ukraine. In addition, interviews were conducted with nine key information providers - representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Health, the NGO "Građanska alijansa", the Embassy of Ukraine, and four Ukrainian citizens residing in Montenegro.
