U.S. Ambassador to Montenegro Visits IOM Mobile Team at Bozaj Transit Center
Bozaj - The esteemed Ambassador of the United States of America to Montenegro, Her Excellency Judy Rising Reinke, graced the Open Transit Center for the Reception of Foreigners Seeking International Protection in Bozaj with her presence on February 8th, 2023.
During her visit, Her Excellency had the privilege of familiarizing herself with the daily operations conducted by the IOM Mobile Team. This team plays a pivotal role in ensuring the protection and support of migrants, a group widely recognized as one of the most vulnerable within our society.
IOM Montenegro is profoundly thankful for Her Excellency's visit and the interest she has shown in their mission. Her presence served as a testament to the importance of the work being carried out at the Bozaj Transit Center, where countless lives are positively impacted through the dedication of the IOM Mobile Team.
This visit reaffirms the commitment of both the United States and the International Organization for Migration to upholding the welfare and rights of vulnerable migrants in Montenegro and beyond.
